The Freedom Riders who will be at the center of our conversation are Dion Diamond, Joan Browning, and Reginald Green. Between these three living legends of the civil rights movement, there includes one who was imprisoned alongside Stokely Carmichael, a religious aid to Washington DC Mayor Marion Barry, and an active journalist and lecturer in history.
