Just a little bit about the work itself:
Finding voice in Bachelard’s notion of an Oneiric House, that is a dream house we construct from our own memories, my work delves into the visual and aural sensations that somehow constitute my own figuring of “home”. Where is home? What makes a home? In responding to these questions, I attempted to capture the sublime and perhaps even uncanny moments where I felt “at home” whilst abroad, where for a brief moment, I felt that I belonged to a particular place and time. This is my house of light and sound.
