Robin Kelley will be here to deliver the JWJ Lecture at the Beinecke on Thursday, 11/3 @ 4 p.m.. He’ll address a topic we all should care about–Cedric Robinson’s intellectual formation and the making of Robinson’s groundbreaking work, Black Marxism.
The next day–Friday, 11/4 @ 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.–we are fortunate to have Robin present his work-in-progress at this specially timed Endeavors. We’ll discuss his working draft of ”A Female Candide: U.S. Empire, Racial Cartographies, and the Education of Ms. Grace Halsell, 1959 - 1982.” As always at our colloquium, lunch will be served.
