BLURRING THE COLOR LINE follows director Crystal Kwok as she unpacks the history behind her grandmother’s family, who were neighborhood grocery store owners in the Black community of Augusta, Georgia during the Jim Crow era. This documentary serves to disrupt racial narratives and bridge divides.
As part of our 2023 Pan Asian American Heritage Month series of events, join the Asian American Cultural Center and Afro-American Cultural Center for a screening of this documentary followed by roundtable discussions with a special guest appearance from Director, Crystal Kwok. Dinner will be provided for attendees.
