Alumni Engagement

Be an engaged alum!

Student Mentoring and Career Exploration

As alumni, you are an integral part of the Black Yale community! You have knowledge of how to navigate Yale, graduate and professional school, and career pathways that current students would love to know. What better way to share that knowledge than by volunteering to serve on a Life After Yale career panel and/or mentor a student who has interest in your field? Click here to complete the alumni volunteer survey! You can also indicate interest in serving on a committee for The House’s 55th anniversary through the volunteer survey.

Yale Black Alumni Association Focus Group and Data Survey

This fall, the Yale Alumni Association (YAA) will be holding regional focus groups to explore the current needs and interests of the global Black Yale alumni community and build solid recommendations that create a new path forward for the Yale Black Alumni Association (YBAA). These findings will be shared with the YAA and Yale administration, but more importantly, they will be shared with all of you. Together, we can use these recommendations to build an intergenerational community of Black Yale alumni that support, uplift, and connect with each other. Contact Nicholas.Lewis@yale.edu for more info.

Become an active member in the Yale Black Alumni Association or other Yale Alumni Association groups.

If you haven’t been receiving emails from YAA, please click here to update your info in the Yale alumni directory.
