We here at the Afro American Cultural Center are proud to announce Dr. Jafari S. Allen as the 2013 Black Graduates’ Celebration speaker. Allen is an Associate Professor of African American Studies, and Anthropology at Yale. He is an alumnus of Morehouse College, New York University, and earned his Ph.D. in Social/Cultural Anthropology from Columbia University in New York.

We can't wait to see everyone at the Black Graduates' Celebration this Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in Battell Chapel!

Be sure to come out to today's Nigerian Cookout Celebration in honor of our graduating seniors and graduate students. The celebration starts in under 30 minutes! It's from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. here at the Afro-American Cultural Center! Professor Seye's students from "Nigeria and its Diaspora" and "Yoruba" will be cooking with SON!

Mmm.. I smell Meat Pies, Puff Puff, and Plantain! Oh My!
And Jollof Rice... Oh too much!
Hey now, Don't forget the Chicken, Hamburgers, and Hotdogs on the grill!
and moin moin, pounded yam, egusi soup... aaaaa!
