Naomi Jackson: Reading and Discussion

Thursday, 4PM, Office of LGBTQ Resources, 124 Swing Space, 40A Ashmun St

Join in conversation with queer, Caribbean American writer Naomi Jackson, about her stunning short story “Ladies”, its film adaptation (to be released in 2016) and about her new novel The Star Side of Bird Hill (to be published in June).

To build a vibrant discussion in advance of the event, we invite members of the campus community to read “Ladies” at the Office of LGBTQ Resources and at the program in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies’ Library (WLH 317).

Sponsored by Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, the Department of African American Studies and the Office of LGBTQ Resources.
