The schedule for the 55th anniversary weekend of the Afro American Cultural Center at Yale has been coordinated by the Planning Committee. The events align with the 55th anniversary theme, A House Built to Last: Celebrating Our Past While Planning for a Sustainable Future.

10am - 12:30pm: optional- Where Have We Been? Exploring The House’s Archives at Beinecke Library
10am - 12:30pm: optional- Yale & Slavery Walking Tour
1:00 - 1:35pm: Welcome & University Update
1:35 - 2:30pm: Plenary Panel:  “Our Past Through the Eyes of House Directors”
2:30 - 3:30pm: Networking Reception at The House OR Lunch on Your Own 

 CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS 

4:00-5:30pm: Conversation & Performance by Kevin “K.O.” Olusola ‘11 @ Woolsey Hall
5:30-7:00pm: Intermission & Refreshments in Commons
7:00-9:00pm: Student Performing Arts Showcase @ Woolsey Hall
9:00pm-12:00am: Kickback @ The House (games, snacks, jam session, and community)
