The program awards up to $1,500 to Yale undergraduate students to complete a semester or year long social justice project in the New Haven area, with preference given to projects that affect women in New Haven or have a feminist mission. Past recipients have organized projects ranging from hosting economic empowerment workshops for young women, to conducting yoga classes for under-served populations, to art projects that examine social inequalities in New Haven.
