Actor and civil rights activist Danny Glover appealed to more than 100 Yale University students Monday to get involved in government and work for change, while he endorsed his friend Henry Fernandez for mayor of New Haven.
Dr. Cohen, in his closing remarks echoed the sentiment of Glover’s message for increased student activism on America’s campuses, Cohen also stated that, “during your time at Yale, you should not just pass through the Afro American Cultural Center, but the Afro American Cultural Center should pass through you.”
