What the House Means to Me:
Meet Jerome Anyalebechi, a senior in Timothy Dwight College. On campus Jerome is involved in the Yale Gospel Choir, Asempa, and he also plays on the Men's Club Soccer Team.
Here's Jerome's take on what the House means to him:
"Since my freshman year, the House has always been a place of great memories. Through it, I have joined an amazing group (Yale Gospel Choir) and met many of my closest friends. What I like most about the House has been how it never discriminates against people who are not African-American or who are, but do not identify with the African-American community. Instead, it welcomes everyone who is willing to respect its history. So to me, the House means a place that gives me an opportunity to connect with people from many different backgrounds."
